Senior Veterinary Nurse

Jane joined the North Geelong Vet Clinic in early 2009 to begin a career in Small Animal Veterinary Nursing where she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Prior to this, Jane worked nursing newborn foals on a thoroughbred stud farm where she had the pleasure of working with some of Australia’s famous racehorses such as Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva. Jane adopted a cute, but sometimes cheeky, cat called Jemima from the clinic that was brought in as a very sick 4 day old kitten. Jemima was nursed back to health by Jane and she has grown into a very spirited adult cat. Jane also has a Fox Terrier X called JP who is quite a character. JP completed puppy school here at our clinic as a puppy and enjoyed every minute of it!

Jane has a passion for horses and is kept busy at home with several horses where she enjoys horse riding in her spare time. She has also bred some of her own racehorses – maybe the next Makybe?….

Jane is a compassionate, dedicated nurse who loves her chosen career and takes pride in providing optimum care for your furry friends.
