BLOOD TESTS

We have In-house Blood Testing facilities that enable us to determine the health of your pet very quickly. We also have regular courier pick-ups to take blood and tissue samples to a laboratory that specialises in animal pathology for more comprehensive tests.

We recommend that all pets have a Pre-Anaesthesic Blood Test undertaken prior to the anaesthesia. This is done on the same morning of the surgery to ensure that your pet is in optimum health for the procedure.

Annual blood tests, especially for pets older than 8 years old, are an excellent way to help detect any early indications of illness. This forms part of our Wellness Program for Dogs and Cats.
